Dr Abby Day is Research Director of the Religion and Media Centre at Goldsmiths, University of London, and also Reader in Race, Faith and Culture in the Department of Sociology where she teaches Sociology of Religion. She is also Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Kent where she teaches sociology and anthropology of religion. Her blog posts were created from her own research with academic writers, editors, and reviewers, who act for leading journals and book publishers, and with Principal Investigators, grant reviewers and representatives from the funding councils and charitable organisations. These ideas were further enriched by examples and ideas shared at her Funding and Publishing workshops at universities in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.
